Wake Up With Rickey Henderson Making An Unreal Catch To Rob Cal Ripken Jr.
I’ve never seen this catch before and idk how thats possible. Rickey Henderson showed off the hops to rob Cal of this homer. I mean he got wayyyyyyy up there. Full extension and robbed it in typical Rickey fashion. Only could have been better if he popped the chain afterwards. He seems like a shorter guy, so I wasn’t expecting to see him soar that high. You see the term “robbed” thrown around quite a bit when its just a nice catch at the wall, this was an actual robbery.
Also, that Orioles fan with the hat HAS to make a better attempt. I mean come on man, reach out with your hands and snatch that thing. Especially for our lord and savior, Cal Ripken Jr. That 1 HR would have meant the world to his career. But seriously, what an unreal catch by Rickey who was more known for his stolen bases and leadoff homers. Rickey really could do it all.
