Elon Musk Is Passing The Buck And Saying A Tesla Employee Tried To "Sabotage" The Company

CNBC- Tesla CEO Elon Musk sent an email to all employees on Monday morning about a factory fire, and seemed to reference possible sabotage. Now, CNBC has learned that Musk also sent an e-mail to all employees at Tesla late on Sunday night alleging that he has discovered a saboteur in the company’s ranks. Musk said this person had conducted “quite extensive and damaging sabotage” to the company’s operations, including by changing code to an internal product and exporting data to outsiders. In 2016, after a SpaceX rocket exploded while being fueled up before an engine test, Musk and SpaceX COO and President Gwynne Shotwell also looked into the possibility of sabotage. Several employees, from different divisions within Tesla, confirmed receipt of the e-mail to CNBC.

Get your house in order, Elon. Jesus christ. How much negative publicity can Tesla and Elon Musk get before people start changing their opinions on the guy? It’s insane. Elon tries to spin it and say that the media is being unfairly mean to him and wah wah wah. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh where’s there’s smoke there’s usually fire. At what point is it Elon’s fault? I would argue we are at that point. Elon Musk stinks at running a company. You can tell me he’s worth a gazillion dollars and has all these successful companies but what has he done for you lately? Seems like a string of failures to me.

And now the heat has been turned up so much on Elon that he’s passing the buck and blaming somebody else. Sending out a mass company e-mail that some mystery employee has been secretly sabotaging the company. Not only does that sound like a load of bullshit but this is your leader? Throwing someone under the bus at the first sign of trouble? Sad. Maybe take some responsibility one time. A company is only as strong and capable as it’s leader. This is clearly a misdirect to try and distract people from Tesla’s real problems. Like how they never meet any deadlines. Or how the cars that do get made end up killing people. It’ll probably work on the stupid people who love Elon Musk no matter how inept he is. They’ll be like, “Well you see, it was the saboteur! The saboteur is to blame! Not the all-knowing and all-powerful Elon! The saboteur!” Not me. I see right through it. It’s time other people start.
