Is LiAngelo Ball the next Kobe Bean Bryant? You tell me. People can talk or tweet about having the #MambaMentality all they want. But to actually go on the court and have the balls as well as the lack of a conscience to put up 50+ shots in a game is a different matter altogether. True Big Baller shit. In fact #BigBallerMentality is pretty much “Aim big, miss big because who gives a shit, your dad owns the league”. In fact, if you believe the saying “Shooters Shoot” is true, Gelo Ball is the greatest shooter in professional basketball history (at least since 1983-84).
This is the kind of player Lakers fans clearly want. Who needs that scrub LeBron who relies on his teammates to do SOME of the dirty work? A true Hollywood hero handles it all himself. Keep destroying those murals in LaLaLand until the artists and Magic Johnson wise up and start painting LiAngelo murals once the Lakers sign him. I already workshopped the design, they just have to put paint to brick.
Meanwhile LaMelo Ball quietly went off for a 48/24/14 triple double on a much more efficient 35 shot night to lead the Los Angeles Ballers to a victory over the Atlanta *checks JBA website again* Ballers. To be honest, I’m not even sure how a team can hoist up 155 shots in a game that ended in regulation and was not played in a video game. But as Tiko Texas once told us, Numbers Never Lie. And those numbers tell me if Gelo can figure out how to shoot more like his younger brother than his older brother, Wilt’s 100 point record may be in jeopardy. People tried to tell LaVar his middle son wouldn’t even make the G League, so he muddied the waters by creating his own league and turned that son into the greatest professional basketball scorer of his generation.
P.S. We honestly don’t talk about Kobe Bryant’s last game enough. From the point chasing, to the number of shots he took, to R. Kelly watching it all on Michael Scott’s TV. It only happened 2 years ago but it feels like 200.
