LA Police Department Issuing Warrant For UFC Flyweight Andrea Lee's Husband On Domestic Violence (Her Husband Is A Nazi As Well)

MMAFighting- An arrest warrant is “forthcoming” for the husband of UFC fighter Andrea Lee, per the Shreveport (La.) Police Department.

Donny Aaron will be facing charges of false imprisonment and domestic violence battery stemming from an incident that occurred late night Aug. 4 into the morning hours of Aug. 5, according to an incident report obtained by MMA Fighting from the Shreveport PD. MyMMANews.com was the first to publish information from the report Tuesday.

The police incident report states that officers responded to a domestic incident involving two people who have been legally married for approximately five years with one child together in the early morning hours of Aug. 5. Photographs were taken and detectives were notified, but no contact was made with the suspect. Lee sustained a minor injury in the alleged attack, per the report. The report indicates that there was a weapon used in the alleged battery.

MMA fighter Andy Nguyen, who lives with Aaron and Lee, confirmed with MMA Fighting that she gave a witness statement to police, which was originally reported and published at MyMMANews.com. In the statement, Nguyen said she was the one who called the police after multiple incidents Aug. 4 into the morning of Aug. 5.

Nguyen said she told police that during a heated argument, Aaron tried to burn Lee’s arm and body with a cigarette. Later, he attempted to choke her.

“He was trying to choke her, but she was defending herself well,” Nguyen’s statement read. “She didn’t get beat up bad. The police did take pictures of marks on her neck. Wasn’t bad this time. No black eyes or anything but he has hit her before. I just wasn’t there. He was my coach and my friend. This was the first time this was in [my] presence and I was not going to let this fly. The domestic violence has been going on for years. I just never saw it.”

Nguyen said Lee and Aaron had been arguing all week and Aaron would not let Lee leave home to train.

“I didn’t call the cops until it got physical and I couldn’t do nothing anymore,” she wrote.

Aaron, 43, had previously made headlines in June when photos surfaced of Nazi tattoos on his arms. Aaron and Lee both apologized at the time, saying Aaron got the tattoos in prison and they don’t reflect who he is now. Aaron said, though, that he could not remove them. Nguyen wrote in the statement that he has an even bigger tattoo on his shoulder and when people offered him a free removal of all the Nazi ink, he still didn’t take it.

Today, some really horrible news has emerged involving the couple again, revealing that a warrant is forthcoming for Donny Aaron on domestic violence battery and false imprisonment charges. All of the details are listed above in Marc Raimondi’s report for MMAFighting, but the broad strokes are that Aaron didn’t allow Lee to leave the house for about a week, put cigarettes out on her skin, and burned her over this time, and attempted to choke her out. Police were called and were able to get Lee and her daughter to safety, and that’s when the warrant became forthcoming for the Nazi, who I would assume is fleeing.
