Despite His Begging, The Redskins Passed On Dez Bryant In Favor Of Brian Quick
Sorry, Dez. The Redskins are staying drama free in 2003. That rhymed, it’s actually 2018 but you get it. Dez is just sitting at home on Twitter, begging the Redskins or Patriots to sign him, and neither team wants anything to do with him. The Skins signed Brian Quick, he of 6 catches in 11 games last year, and the Pats signed Corey Colman, he of getting cut by the Browns and Bills.
And guess what? I love it. There is no reason to bring in a wanna-be #1 WR with suspect hands and a bad attitude. Imagine Dez on the sideline as a #4 WR screaming in Alex Smith’s face? No thanks. We finally have a likable team, I want Dez Bryant as far away as possible. And apparently every other team agrees.
I do think Dez will play this year. I mean…it’s not like his legs don’t work. But clearly there’s a reason he’s still at home and teams are signing anyone else besides him. Enough became enough. His best bet would be to delete his Twitter. change his attitude, hold a workout, and accept whatever is offered. Otherwise he’ll continue not cashing paychecks. Turns out it pays to be a nice guy like Brian Quick, and eventually it stops paying to be Dez Bryant.
