You're Never Gonna Believe This, But Yasiel Puig's Home Was Robbed Again (For The Fourth Time)
(TMZ) — Yasiel Puig really needs to do something about his home security, ’cause he was burglarized yet again — the 4TH TIME he’s been hit … TMZ Sports has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us cops were called to Puig’s San Fernando Valley home Tuesday night around 8 PM after one of the Dodger’s assistants got a security alert on his phone, which showed 3 men leaving Puig’s property.
Yasiel has a security camera set up that captures motion, and it automatically sends the video to a cell phone programmed to receive it. When Yasiel’s associate saw the footage, he immediately called police … but the bad guys had already fled.
We’re told the men broke in through the back door … smashing it open. It’s unclear at this point if anything was taken.
Yasiel wasn’t seen celebrating with his team at Dodger Stadium Tuesday night after their walk-off win against the Rockies, but the game went late … and he presumably left when he got called about the break-in.
First of all, humble brag that you have enough stuff to be robbed four times. Must be nice. If you get robbed once, I feel bad for you. If you get robbed twice, I feel extra bad for you. If you get robbed three or four times, then you’re just a fucking idiot, which we have plenty of reason to believe is the case here with Yasiel Puig.
The word on the street is that this was an inside job, as were some, if not all, of the other robberies, too. Word is that Puig is trusting the wrong people and that he’s too stupid to realize that he’s letting sketchy individuals into his home who have bad intentions. An athlete with north of $40 million in the bank is going to have some nice things in their house, but the report says that he’s got security.
If you’re gonna break into a house with a fancy security system, get in and out with some items of value without getting caught, then there’s a decent chance that you arrived with an item or item(s) in mind to take, and that you more than likely know your way around the house, specifically where that item or item(s) are located within the house.
Puig needs better friends. Or, he needs to build a moat with alligators. Or both.
