The Weather Channel Made Another AMAZING Simulation, This Time With FIRE!
THAT. WAS. AWESOME!! Yes, weather channel, a thousand times yes! After their tremendous debut with the classic flood simulation, they’re back again… with FIRE. And it’s a great sequel. Frankly, I like the flood one better:
But the fire one was pretty damn cool. I love fire. It’s so fascinating, so warm, so fun. Growing up a woodsman in Maine, we had to learn how to build fires at a very early age. From the moment I lit my first match, I was hooked. From there, it was a quick acceleration into a full-blown love affair. Once I started incorporating gasoline, lighter fluid, and other pyrotechnic liquids, I wanted to burn everything I could get my hands on. Flames are friends.
Wildfires are scary though. They move faster than a grindr match. Did you see how it charged up that mountain, burning it to a crisp? It looked like a scene from This Is The End. I suppose the point here is that if your house is in the path of a wildfire, evacuate, don’t wait around, blah blah blah. But if you want to die in a wildfire, who are we to stop you? As a libertarian, I think the government should not meddle in people’s lives, or deaths. Even seatbelt laws piss me off. Let these morons burn, I say. One less mouth to feed, replaced by a pile of burnt bones and melted skin.
Keep at it, weather channel. I’d love to see your take on an entire village disappearing beneath a tsunami. Or maybe a pack of wolves at a preschool where all the teachers are on lunch break. Hoooo baby!
