WR Golden Tate Traded To The Eagles For A 3rd Round Pick....A THIRD ROUND PICK!!!

Hey, I’ve learned to give Howie, this organization, and life the benefit of a doubt when it comes to moves. But at first glance, a 3rd rounder for Golden Taint, a 30-year-old possible rental, seems a bit much. Sure, he’s talented and helps the team immediately. I would’ve rather seen a trade for a DL, CB/S, RB, or OL. Between Ertz, Jeffrey, and the rest of the receiving corp, the Eagles have been OK enough to not get desperate. And I’m not saying this move reeks of desperation. If anything it’s, well, Howie being Howie. The dude can’t sit fucking still. We’ll see how it shakes out. And no, I have zero idea on what this means for the cap or anything with money/compensatory draft picks, and at this point I’m too afraid to ask. Just enjoy the highlights. Go Birds.
