Mac Miller’s 'A Celebration of Life' Tribute Show Last Night Was Nothing Short of Incredible

Last night Mac Miller’s family, friends, and thousands of fans gathered to give him the perfect goodbye with a tribute concert at LA’s Greek Theatre. Artists like Chance the Rapper, Pusha T, Travis Scott, John Mayer, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, and others performed some of Mac’s best hits as well as their own. He was clearly universally beloved in the hip hop industry. I mean when you’ve got John Mayer singing Small Worlds then what more do you want?

When they played Mac’s voice thanking the crowd for coming out with no one at the mic I mean Jesus Christ if that doesn’t make the hair stand up on your arms I don’t know what will. I feel like not enough people knew about Mac when he was alive and everyone is kind of getting into him now. I still can’t believe he’s gone at the age of 26. He was the shit and a genuinely awesome, happy guy all the time. It still doesn’t make sense that he’s gone, but at least they gave him an incredible tribute show last night. Rest easy Mac.
