STILL SOMEHOW ALIVE: The Eagles Come Back From Down 19-3 And Beat The Somehow Even More Clueless Giants
Gotta love the life support, baby! Hey, a win is a win is a win. And the Eagles are a Dallas loss on Thursday vs. the Saints and a victory over Washington next Sunday to being tied for first place in the NFC East. Sure, the Eagles still stink. There’s no way you can call them a good team right now, let alone a Super Bowl Champion. The secondary is still a traveling infirmary filled with guys who should be selling insurance or driving trucks instead of being on a NFL roster. The coaching is still questionable. That’s now 9 out of 11 games the Eagles haven’t scored in the first quarter. That’s just unacceptable. Like I said, the Eagles still stink, but the Giants somehow stink worse. Check out this little nugget:
Saquon Barkley 1st Half Touches: 15.
1 rushing TD.
1 receiving TD.
100+ total yards.
Giants score 19 points.
Saquon Barkley 2nd Half Touches: 5.
Giants score 3 points.
Hey, I’m not complaining, but that’s absolutely unacceptable if you’re a Giants supporter. Beyond baffling. Oh well. I said it before, May The Worst Team Lose, and the Giants indeed lost. Give credit to the Eagles, tho. They were down 19-3 and kept battling back for the W. We’ll take it anyway we can.
We’re onto Washington. Let’s get this.
