Man Thwarts Lion Attack With A Vicious Slap To The Face

I’m not going to lie…I jumped. The old man went zero to one hundred REAL quick. You need that kind of energy if you’re going to be working with big cats. The second you show weakness they’ll maul the shit out of you because, well, they’re cats. Unpredictable assassins with no regard for human life. And while the cat wasn’t successful this time, he will be eventually. He’s like the crocodile in Peter Pan patiently waiting for his moment to attack Captain Hook.

All that guy did by slapping the lion was secure his death. Hopefully he’s not lured into a false sense of security next time he’s in the cage. The only reason it got up in the first place wasn’t because it was hurt, it was because it was shocked at the level of disrespect. Poor guy was king of the jungle. He never thought he’d be dealing with portly Russian circus folk. Life comes at you fast, I guess.

Credit to both of them for getting out of there alive. Next time it probably won’t be the case.
