Never Forget Amanda Bynes Explaining Her Infamous Drake "Murder My Vagina" Tweet: "I Was Serious, But I Was Also On Drugs"

VANITY FAIR – In the video posted Friday, Bynes addressed some of her more off-color moments, including a much-circulated tweet she posted before the arrests saying she wanted Drake to “murder [her] vagina”—which, at the time, prompted the rapper to respond, telling XXL, “I don’t even know who is doing that or what that’s about. If that is her, I guess it’s a little weird and disturbing.”

“I actually wasn’t being insincere,” Bynes said, referring to the tweet. “I was saying, ‘murder my vagina.’ I was serious, but I was also on drugs. So that was my way of saying like, ‘Let’s do this, man.’ But I was on drugs and trying to be hilarious.”

With Amanda Bynes all over the news and the timelines, let’s not forget her ComebackSZN actually started a year ago.  Yeah it didn’t pick up steam until last night, but we all saw the writing on the wall when she sat down, clean and sober, glowing and peppy, and explained the background of asking Drake to…well…

Let’s just say it was a tweet…which will live…in infamy.

In the blog profession there are a handful of defining moments that you’ll keep with you forever.  You know how for most people it’s like, your wedding, when you have your first baby, when you buy your first family house?  For us it’s things like this: when Amanda Bynes tweeted Drake that she wanted him to murder her vagina.  Tagged him too.  Straight to the feed.  That’s how bad she wanted her vagina murdered.  Of course she was dead serious.  Of course she was on drugs.  Although I appreciate the confession, we didn’t need it – you simply don’t ask a pop star to vagina murder you without rolling a little bit.
