Dude Interrupts People Singing 'Jingle Bell Rock' And Starts Rapping Tekashi 6ix9ine Lyrics

That video made me wildly uncomfortable. The only person more uncomfortable than me was the guy on stage who was not-so-subtly gesturing for the guy to get off the fucking stage. And that was before the guy snatched a microphone and started yelling 6ix9ine lyrics at the top of his lungs. Are there two song types that are more opposite than Jingle Bell Rock and any Tekashi song? I don’t think there are but does that mean I wouldn’t want to hear a Tekashi 6ix9ine Christmas album? No it does not. I actually want that album in the worst way.

On a related note, I can’t decide if I’m all-in on being a Tekashi fan or not because he’s for sure #problematic but DUMMY BOY, as the kids say, slaps. It fucking slaps. So do I separate the art from the artist and enjoy it or do I take into account how much of a piece of shit he is and ignore him all together? It’s a tough call because almost every song on his latest album is a banger. KIKA is a bop and a half. It might be two full bops in one song. That’s how good it is. As soon as the steel drums start and Tory Lanez comes in hot with, “BITCH WE IN THE CITY ON THAT HOT SHIT” I get very excited. Add in 6ix9ine screaming in my face with bat shit crazy lyrics and you’ve got yourself a hit. There’s also a very real chance Tekashi 6ix9ine spends the rest of his days in prison and I won’t have to decide whether or not I’m a fan because he’ll never put out any new music.
