2018 is the year when Christmas light displays got taken to a whole different level. We didn’t know about the next level until 2018 did it. It’s no longer possible to stand out if you just string up a couple lights on the gutter and throw a pretty wreath on your front door. That’s the bare minimum of Christmas light displays nowadays. Some of the setups we’ve seen so far would make Clark Griswold jealous. It looked like the most revolutionary thing was going to be syncing up Christmas lights with songs like SICKO MODE and Mo Bamba. And then this house went ahead and took it to an even higher level by projecting Mariah “Queen of Christmas” Carey singing songs on their garage. Every other house in that neighborhood should just pack up their Christmas shit and start planning for next year. This ain’t their year.
