Well, the Bears thankfully did their job, and the Eagles, someway, somehow, are heading back to the playoffs…to play the Bears. If I were Matt Nagy I would’ve pulled a Coach Taylor at East Dillon during halftime to ensure they’d play the hapless Vikings instead of the soaring Eagles, but to each their own. The Birds are going to be playing with guys in the secondary that won’t be on a NFL roster next season. They could be without both Carson Wentz AND Nick Foles. But, dammit, they’re living to fight another day. And right now, that’s all we can ask for. The Bears are going to be tough and honestly should win, but so should’ve the Rams two weeks ago. So should’ve Houston last week. Anything can happen with this team who loves playing with their backs against the wall and their balls in a closing vice. Who knows? They’re playing with house money now, and the Eagles just may fuck around and win another Super Bowl…
