A Man Allegedly Tried To Kidnap a Woman, So She Ran Inside a Karate Studio For Help - He Then Left On a Stretcher After The Sensei Kicked The Shit Out Of Him

CNN

A man tries to kidnap a woman by forcing her into his car, in north Charlotte. She breaks free, and runs into a nearby karate studio pleading for help. You can already see how this ends: with the suspect being carried out on a stretcher after a fight with a karate head instructor. The incident happened at 9 pm Thursday outside Bushiken Karate Charlotte Dojo, according to CNN affiliate WSOC and the head instructor, Randall Ephraim.

Ephraim told CNN he was straightening up the dojo, the karate studio, when the woman rushed inside:
“There were still some kids in the dojo being picked up by parents and a couple of adult students cleaning up when a young lady came through our doors and stated that someone was trying to harm her,” he told CNN.

Ephraim said he asked the man to leave, but he stated he was not going anywhere. “He then tried to force himself further into the dojo, aggressively pushing and swinging,” the instructor said. “I then went into action defending myself and got him out of the dojo. Once outside he attempted to attack again and was dealt with accordingly.”

Definitely not how the bad guy drew this one up. One second you think you’re about to kidnap a girl, the next a sensei is beating the everliving shit out of you to the point you are being stretchered to the hospital. Just bad luck. Running into a karate studio while evading a kidnapper is as genius a move as it gets. On the flip side, continuing the pursuit of the woman after she gets inside the dojo is maybe the dumbest move possible. What did you think was going to happen when you came toe to toe with this bad mamma jamma.

I wish there was a video of the attack. It was probably the lightest work he’s ever come across. He tried to start shit again when he was outside and was “dealt with accordingly” aka put in a stretcher. Legend. You’ve got to think this has got to be the biggest career bump possible for the sensei. Parents are probably lining up their kids at his studio, as you read this, begging for self defense training. Moral of the story: if you’re trying to kidnap someone, try following them into a Staples or Bed Bath and Beyond. Avoid karate studios at all costs.
