Marvel Is Reportedly Hunting For Their Next Wolverine? Look No Further Than Kit Harrington

With the Disney/Fox merger being finalized as we speak, Kevin Feige (who is basically the God and Overseer of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe) has reportedly begun searching for the next person to don the claws and take up the mantle as Wolverine, and likely the rest of the X-Men as well – readying them for their inclusion to the MCU.

Controversial as it may be, I’m glad that recasting all of the X-Men is the route they’re taking. I loved Hugh Jackman’s iconic, near twenty-year portrayal of Wolverine as much as anybody – and probably more than anybody, being I put up with both of that mothafucka’s solo movies before ‘Logan’ – but we’ve now gotten to the point in 2019 where Fox’s X-Men Universe has been so trickled down, confusing, and to put it bluntly – shitty…that I wouldn’t confuse the general public any more than you need to by muddying the waters of keeping some actors/actresses and recasting others. I think you gotta wipe the slate COMPLETELY clean, and obviously, you start with Wolverine.

My pick for that role came to me last night, in the middle of the night, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since…it’s Kit Harrington.

I’m a Game of Thrones rookie, admittedly; I started binging the show just two weeks ago, and am finishing up the sixth season tonight, but I’ve already seen all I need to see to make this the perfect casting in my mind. He’s got the perfect height/build, as a tinier guy (which has always been a mental roadblock for me when people talk about casting him as the next Bruce Wayne/Batman), he’s got that super raw/brooding appearance, he can grow a hell of a Wolvie-beard, and he’s a god damn motherfucking badass on-screen. Plus, coming from the GoT world, he’s already one of the more beloved actors in the world. What more could you ask for?

BOOK IT, Feige!
