Congrats To Me And Tyler For Teaching Joe Harris How To Win The Three Point Contest
As everyone knows me and Withers are down in Charlotte for All Star Weekend. We’ve been running around non-stop and are both more exhausted than Dirk right now. Just constantly grinding, sprinting from one end of the city to the other for interviews on interviews on interviews. Luckily we were able to graciously carve out some time to mentor our close personal friend Joe “Killer J” Harris.
You see, the 3-point contest isn’t the easiest for these world class athletes. It’s unnatural. You never shoot rapid fire off a rack like they force you to do in this contest. So Tyler and I racked our brains to come up with the best possible strategy. I’m talking about we were running simulations all week, crunching numbers, beakers were involved, lab coats, the whole nine. Well we finally came up with the mathematically proven strategy of “just hit all of your shots” and we had the perfect student as Joe knocked down nearly all of his attempts. I actually appreciate that he didn’t just go out there and hit every single shot because then there would be no room for improvement next year. Plus we wanted to keep it close enough to make Steph think he had a shot. The night is all about showmanship you understand and that’s what we told Joe off-camera. Anyways, congrats to Killer J and more importantly congrats to Tyler and myself for the big win this weekend.
