Name Another Blogger Who Could Come Back From ACL Surgery In Just 6 Months

Typically an ACL surgery will take an athlete somewhere around 9-12 months to come back from. They say that you don’t start to feel 100% until you hit that 1-year mark and that it might take a full 2-years to get you back to where you were before the surgery. If you’re an absolute freak of nature like Adrian Peterson, you can come back from surgery in just 8 months.

I got ACL reconstruction surgery over Labor Day Weekend. That was just a couple days over 6 months ago. And today, for the first time since that surgery, I will be making my return to the lacrosse field. Adrian Peterson is a goddamn specimen and it took him 8 months. I’m a blogger and I’m out here in 6.

Now I’ll be honest–I still wouldn’t consider myself to be 100% at the moment. I’m still in the brace and I wouldn’t necessarily love to take on any contact at the moment. But when your hometown team calls you up and says that they want you to play for them like the Philadelphia Wings did to me? Well you don’t pass up a moment like that. Because great moments are born from great opportunities. And that’s what I have here today, boys. That’s what I’ve earned here today.

This is just stop #1 on my Comeback Tour. And big thanks goes out to the Wings for making it happen. Full video should hopefully be ready soon. But let’s just say I turned some heads out there.
