“Jonathan Woods claimed to be sophisticated at credit card fraud when, in fact, he is not,” prosecutors wrote in an indictment unsealed in federal court Thursday.
Woods is facing up to 20 years in federal prison if convicted.
Ok so I have a lot of thoughts on this story. I’ve never heard of this rapper “Self-made Kash” but I think he’s a total fraud and it has nothing to do with the credit card fraud he was (allegedly) committing. If you have “Kash” in your name why on earth would you have a chain of a credit card around your neck?
Seems like “Selfmade Credit” or “Selfmade Low Interest Rates” would be more fitting names considering how much he loves credit cards. It’s just giving a bad name to all the great guys out there named Kash.

On top of Kash being an awesome name Kash Daniel backed up that name with his play on the field. This Kash unfortunately did not. Also self proclaiming yourself as the best swiper of all time is an asinine thing to do when Swiper from Dora the Explorer is clearly the most world renowned swiper that’s ever lived. The guys first name is literally “Swiper” that should be enough for him to comfortable hold that title, even though he always got snitched on by Dora and bitch ass Boots.
Selfmade Kash may be trying to fool the rest of the world being a rapper but I know exactly who this guy is at his core. This is the guy from your high school that started DMing you two years after you graduated telling you to send him $100 and he’ll send you back $1,000 right away. I never took the chance but I was always so tempted. I’ve spent somewhat significant time looking at these accounts with all these happy customers flashing money with captions like “Omg I needed money so bad and I sent them my last $500 and now I have $5,000!!!!” and just thought to myself wow that would be awesome. But then another thought pops in my head how pissed I’d be if I sent my last few shekels to some random asshole from my town only to never see the money again.
The prosecutors taking shots at the strength of Selfmade’s operation is so funny. Gassing himself up as the “GOAT’ of scamming and even selling his methods on the dark web only to get a maximum potential 20 year sentence thrown in your face and to be referred to as Johnathon Woods and get told publicly he is in fact not operating a sophisticated credit card scam.
Do people like this actually believe they’re never gonna get caught? They literally post this shit all over their Instagram and act like nothing is going to happen. You’re literally ripping off credit cards and publicly advertising his very illegal business and then lawyer up talking about beating the case. Buddy the evidence is pretty cut and dry. You’re fucked. Good luck to him though. Hopefully he saved enough of that scammer money to hire a good lawyer and catch a plea deal.
