Junior Dos Santos Just Knocked Out Derrick Lewis In One Of The More Hilarious Fights I've Watched In A While

Ol’ Cigano – Junior Dos Santos – just reminded the world exactly why he’s one of the most feared men to ever grace the octagon, knocking out Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis in brutal fashion just two rounds into their UFC on ESPN+ main event, live from Wichita, fucking, Kansas.

I can’t tell you how many times I was completely and utterly confused as to what the fuck was going on, who was taking control, who was hurt, and who was okay, but the fight was insanely/hilariously entertaining because of all that.

First, we had Derrick Lewis using Herb Dean’s shirt to wipe his eye after eating a poke to it in the first round…

Then, we saw this PREPOSTEROUS exchange…

Followed by JDS rocking Derrick Lewis with a spinning side-kick to the body, which hurt The Black Beast badly, but allowed him to almost play possum a bit and drop Dos Santos!

Absolute fucking craziness.

Cigano got the finish shortly into the second round, capitalizing on Lewis’ decline in speed due to that devastating kick to the body, and led the crowd in singing happy birthday to his son, who turns two today…

Pretty phenomenal finish to a bit of a lackluster night, I gotta say, but I didn’t hate it one bit!

UFC Wichita definitely exceeded my expectations and proved a worthwhile way to spend my Saturday night. Hopefully y’all felt the same way, or at the very least, were able to keep up and be entertained by my coverage.
