Drew Stafford got the Devils on the board shortly after. 2-1 Bruins heading into the 3rd.

Good lord what a snipe from Danton Heinen. 3-1 Bruins. His 10th of the season.

Patrice Bergeron sealed the deal with an ENG. 4-1 Bruins. His 30th of the season.

News, notes and quotes:

  • Three game goal streak for Patrice Bergeron. He’s got 30 on the year despite missing a heavy amount of games due to injury. David Pastrnak was the beneficiary of Andy Greene breaking his stick and fed it over to Patrice for the opening score. His assist gave him 70 points on the season. Remember when “Father Time” was supposedly catching up to him a few years ago? He’s 3 points away from setting a career high.
  • It feels so fucking good to yell Pasta La Vista, baby. Pastrnak’s 32nd of the season came in the 2nd, his first goal since returning from thumb surgery.
  • The Bergeron line combined for 8 points tonight. Lmao.
  • Danton Heinen’s 10th of the season was his first goal since the 12th of February. He got knocked down to the 3rd line with Sean Kuraly and Chris Wagner with David Pastrnak returning to the top line.
  • 22 save game from Tuukka Rask who now has 2 straight wins on the road trip.
  • Shout out to Connor Clifton for making his home-state debut. He’s looked confident since his second recall this year.
  • The B’s now sit 6 points ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs for 2nd in the Atlantic with 8 games to go. He’s now 8-4-2 in his career against the Devils.

Imagine not having these guys on your team? Couldn’t be me.
