He’s still one of the largest humans on the planet. Very easy to see and also avoid. Absolutely no reason to be tripping over him at all in that scenario, ESPECIALLY when his foot and lower leg were no longer attached as God intended. It’s a simple request, really, just don’t kick a man when he’s down.

As for Nurkic, I hope this recovery process is smooth and without setback. He was having a career year, finally seemed to find his groove in this League on a nightly basis, and tonight alone was having one of the best statistical games of his career. Simply put: this really fucking stinks.

But shoutout Portland, a fan base sadly very used to centers suffering terrible leg injuries, for being there for their guy while he was writhing on the ground in agonizing pain.
