Was This LeBron's Plan All Along? (Allegedly Speaking, Of Course)

Los Angeles Lakers v Brooklyn Nets

Now before I even get started here, I must mention that everything I’m about to say is purely speculation. This is all alleged dots that are being connected and in no way am I attempting to say that any of this should be considered factual information. Last thing I need right now is for Nike’s lawyers to be up my ass.

But let’s just for a moment pretend like the NBA is actually way more like Game Of Thrones than we already envision it to be. Could there possibly be a situation in which LeBron James didn’t sign with the Lakers as a basketball decision, but as a tactical decision to take down Big Baller Brand? Hear me out on this one.

First of all–everybody in the world knew that LeBron’s Lakers were going to be a disaster. At least for the first year before he could create a new Super Team around him. But now that the Lakers are out of playoff contention, there’s not really a Super Team necessarily lining up around the blog just ready to form around LeBron. Now many people just assumed that this decision was made due to LeBron’s secondary career in the entertainment industry, and that being in LA was a crucial part of getting that career going full steam by the time he’s ready to stop playing basketball. Which makes sense and everything like that. But what if there’s more?

It all starts with this Instagram post from Lonzo Ball.

It hints that Lonzo will be making the jump from BBB over to Nike, the same company whose biggest asset is LeBron James. Now many people assume that Lonzo has decided to leave BBB behind after the co-founder and family friend Alan Foster allegedly embezzled $1.5 million from him. But right as the speculation started to grow that Lonzo Ball would be jumping over to Nike, this tweet from the Stormy Daniels lawyer came about.

Hmmmmm…..interesting timing, to say the least. Right as Big Baller Brand was about to lose pretty much their only athlete to Nike, a new scandal is about to be uncovered which puts Nike directly in the crosshairs. But about 15 seconds after that tweet was sent, this happened.

So how would Nike be able to act so fast? How would they already have these charges ready to go against the Stormy Daniels lawyer? Well because what if LaVar Ball was feeding him information trying to get back at Nike for taking Lonzo from him? And then what if Lonzo…was playing BOTH SIDES?

So Lonzo knows that LaVar is going after Nike. Then he tells LeBron and LeBron is able to give Nike the heads up.

What if LeBron’s plan the whole time was to take down BBB? He didn’t want to win championships in LA. He didn’t want to recruit a super team. He just wanted to stop BBB before it was too late.

And again, this is all alleged. Not claiming any facts here. Just loosely connecting some dots, that’s all.
