Snowboarder Almost Takes His Buddy's Head Off Trying To Surf Across A Pool Of Water

This is one of the few videos on the internet where I’m happy it didn’t end in disaster. Most of the time I root for the fall, but this would’ve been too graphic. That guy was going no less that 35mph. His head would’ve either come clean off or his throat would’ve been Clint Malarchuk’d in front of all those spectators. The entire thing started when the first guy fell and turned the pond into a wave pool. No one had a prayer after that. The water has to be perfectly smooth in order to ski across it. That and you have to lean wayyyy back so you don’t catch your tips in the water. If you don’t you’ll end up front-flipping yourself to death. Which is exactly what happen here only it wasn’t the initial impact that (almost) killed them, it was the number of people entering the water. It’s honestly a miracle no one got hurt. Look at how close this was.

And why was the announcer cheering for “carnage”? Seems a bit strange. Maybe he was just trying to pump up the crowd? I don’t know. Ski season is almost for in most parts of the country so hopefully this was their last run of the year. If I were them, I’d go buy a lottery ticket and sit my ass down on the couch.
