How Does Somebody Get Caught Smuggling Drugs Under Their Dentures Into A Prison?
ABC - A person is facing several felonies after they were caught trying to smuggle nearly a dozen oxycodone tablets into Augusta Correctional Center.
The Department of Corrections said the 10 pills were found hidden under the visitor’s dentures.
Hey, short man!
(I don’t know why, but every time I think of dentures I think of Arnold’s Grandpa. Did he wear them in an episode? Clearly he’s not wearing them here so it doesn’t make much sense, but whatever that’s my brain)
Honest question on the actual story though:
How the hell do you smuggle drugs into a prison? I honestly have no idea. It seems like the guards have that shit on lock down, but then you always hear that these correctional centers are just LOADED with drugs. Are the guards really just making deals with these inmates/the people who visit and they let it slide?
It’s the only way that makes sense to me because if you can’t get a couple lil pill baggies fit in through your damn dentures then how would you get anything else in?
It’s definitely not like Goodfellas where you’re shoving deli meats down your winter coat
But, I suppose it’s just like anything in life where if you know something well enough there’s usually always a way to game the system. Kinda like in school when you would go to extreme lengths to cheat on an exam.
The teacher wants to ban cell phones? Okay, cool I’m just going to slip this paper into my clear water bottle that has every equation I need. Then she bans water bottles? Fine, I guess I’ll write it all in pencil on the cover of my calculator.
You get my point here as the list just goes on and on. I know that this is the case when it comes to them making shanks out of damn milk cartons, but unless there’s some type of pigeon carrier situation going on then I don’t really know how they get the shit in.
I guess it’s time to get one of these guys on Dog Walk.
