I Haven't Seen A Michigan Man Cry His Eyes Out Like Juwan Howard At His Press Conference Since, Well, You Know

Michigan men are emotional. Nothing wrong with that. But, I haven’t seen a man weep like that since, well, who could forget:

Two COMPLETELY different reasons to cry. We’ll focus on Juwan Howard here because he’s actually important. I don’t blame Howard for crying. The dude loves Michigan. His dream was to be a head coach. He talks about how he turned down the associate head coach job with the Timberwolves for it:

More important than that – Howard talked about getting the Fab Five back together. That’s something that needs to happen. I don’t care who you cheer for, the Fab Five is one of the most important teams in college basketball history. That’s just a fact. Webber and Rose need to make up. They need to put the banners back up. He’s determined to get it done

And I’ll say this about Howard. I think it’s not being talked about with how he’s familiar with the AAU circuit. He’s been around that. He knows how to recruit. I don’t think that’s going to be a problem for him. Like it is with the majority of these NBA guys that come to the NCAA it’s just adapting to the game. Again, I don’t doubt that will happen.

I really like this hire with Howard. I don’t think it’s Chris Mullin and think it’s more Patrick Ewing.
