Page Six- Johnny Bananas pulled a Kanye West at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Bananas, born Johnny Devenanzio, jumped on the stage to accept an award he did not win during Saturday night’s festivities, The Blast reported. Bananas, 36, took the mic to accept the award for “Reality Royalty” on behalf of “The Challenge,” although “Love & Hip Hop” won.

“The Bachelor,” “Vanderpump Rules,” and “Jersey Shore” were also contenders.

The outlet reported that Bananas rambled for a minute or two, saying: “We finally won! After all these years, it’s about time MTV finally gives ‘The Challenge’ the recognition it deserves. All the other shows that got nominated are essentially paying rent in the genre we created.”

Looks like Johnny Bananas pulled a Kanye West during the MTV movie and TV awards when The Challenge didn’t win for ‘reality royalty’. Apparently he got right on stage and started yelling about how they won, when in fact they didn’t win. All I know is, we MUST see this footage. A bunch of news outlets are saying they don’t know if the footage will be included in tonight’s premiere of the awards but in my opinion, they would be doing a disservice to all of us by not putting it in. So please MTV air it during the movie awards for the people bored watching at home.
