Daisy Ridley Says She Is "The Most Excited" She's Felt For 'The Rise Of Skywalker'
Welp, this is an incredibly exciting little tidbit outta ‘The Rise Of Skywalker’ post-production!
Daisy Ridley went on Good Morning America today to promote her new flick, ‘Ophelia’, which, respectfully, looks awful…
…but luckily didn’t escape the interview portion of her appearance before the anchors were able to get a couple Star Wars questions in!
Star Wars News Net transcribed most of the conversation, but here’s a few things that stuck out to me…
Alright, for starters, Daisy says she’s “the most excited I’ve felt” about seeing ‘The Rise of Skywalker’.
I know people will say “Well, obviously she’s gonna say shit like this, because what else would she say?!” but I’m choosing to believe this is genuine. I think Daisy is legitimately more excited to see this movie than she was for ‘The Force Awakens’ and ‘The Last Jedi’ because I think it’s gonna be a mind blowing conclusion to the Skywalker Saga and she knows it.
Secondly, this ENNNNTIRE answer has got me as hype I could possibly be right now. Daisy going out of her way to note references to all nine films guarantees us some CRAZY prequel callbacks, and that’s incredibly exciting. As is her ending by saying “I think people are going to feel very satisfied.”, because after the debates and possible wars ‘The Last Jedi’ sparked, you don’t say that unless you mean it. Which is coming from a guy who loves ‘The Last Jedi’ as much as anybody on this planet, so maybe you’re taking this whole blog with a grain of salt, but hey – I’m just really freaking stoked for this movie and wanted to share that here.
