Damian Lillard man, it’s becoming impossible to hate on this guy. Not only is he a Top 5 point guard in the league and an All NBA talent

but what does he do after he lands his gigantic 5/196M supermax? He does something like this. I feel like Dame might be one of the last humble star players in the league, he’s just a real ass dude. The way he reps Oakland, the way he’s truly committed to Portland and will never leave and team up with any other star because he’s not about that life, you can’t help but respect him. For all we know he just changed these kid’s lives forever and what I love about it was there was no press, no huge ordeal, he wasn’t doing it to get attention or to get people like me to blog it, everything was genuine.

I don’t even care if this ends up being covered by Adidas or something, that’s not really the point. It’s just cool to see someone who is a legit superstar in the NBA realize that there are bigger things in life. I know Dame isn’t the first person to do something like this and frankly I’ll blog each and every one because I love moments like these. This is why the people of Portland would most likely kill for this man, the money and all that seems to not have changed Dame one bit and those are the type of NBA superstars you want to root for.

First he ended the Thunder has a franchise and carried the Blazers to a WCF which was the furthest they’ve been since 1998-99. Now he’s doing his part to become a legend in his community. Not a bad gig.
