Fun Fact: Wearing Crocs Will Legitimately Save Your Life
Instagram – This is Isaac Earnest…Isaac got struck by lightning Sunday. The doctors told him he should just not come to Floydfest. Isaac came to Floydfest to see our show. The doctors also said had he not been wearing his @crocs, he would have grounded out and his feet might have blown off. Wear your crocs, people. Also, @crocs, can we get this man some free crocs or some help with his medical bills? Isaac Earnest and his story is the coolest thing I’ve witnessed all week. Isaac is a lightning rod. Isaac is a wild man.
I’ve been a big time proponent of Crocs for quite some time now. We’re talking wayyyy before Crocs could even be considered “ironically fashionable”. So I’ve never been one who needed any sort of reason or motivation to wear a pair of Crocs other than they fact that they are highly practical and highly comfortable.
But after this Tyler Childers Instagram post? Well I think it’s about time that we, as Americans, mandate that everybody owns a pair of these bad boys. If not for the comfort then at least for the fact that they can quite literally save your life. Or at the very least, they can save you from having your feet get blown off by a strike of lightning.
Just think about that for a second. Without those Crocs, this poor kid wouldn’t have any feet right now. His life would be altered forever. Could you imagine a life without any feet? I sure as heck couldn’t. And luckily for Isaac Earnest here, he won’t need to either. And it’s all thanks to that sweet, sweet pair of Crocs.
