Tom Brady Gave Chase Winovich Some Good Ol' Fashioned Rookie Hazing

The rookie haircut is a long honored tradition in the NFL. Make a guy look like a monk, shave a penis in the side of their head, really anything you want because he’s a rookie and you’re not. Thems the brakes. But when a guy like Chase Winovich gets into the League you can’t go chopping off his hair. You just can’t. That’s a guy who came into the League looking for those Clay Matthews Head & Shoulders checks. You can’t go fucking someone out of a bag like that. I’m sure Winovich is at least a quarter Nordic Viking and can grow that back in no time, but still. And yet, a seasoned veteran like Tom knows a rookie cannot go unpunished. And like the true leader he is he found the middle ground. Little snip during the game, show him he’s been alpha’d, and now he’s officially a member of the New England Patriots. Easily the biggest highlight to come out of this preseason in New England. I’ve got Winovich down for at least 11.5 sacks and four forced fumbles by Thanksgiving the latest.
