The Yankees Beat The Red Sox For The 13th Time And Caused Them To Fire Their President
Yankees 10 Red Sox 5
94-50. Magic number down to 10 for the AL East. Reset their franchise home run mark for a single season. 13-5 over Boston this year. And now Dave Dombrowski is unemployed after Boston realized he had left them hopeless for years to come. Stripped of all their prospects and left with some terrible contracts. A luxury tax bill out the ass. Zero top 100 prospects. Yanks beat them so badly this year that they fired their president. What a shame. We’ll miss ya Dave. Was looking forward to seeing what else you could do to ruin that team. Sure they won the World Series, but that team is a mess for the foreseeable future. Mookie basically all but saying he’s gone.
If they’re smart they’ll deal him in the offseason to replenish the farm. Fun times. As for the Yankees? Well the freight train kept on rolling Sunday night.
35 bombs for Gleyber “definitely not a home run hitter under any circumstances” Torres. He’s on pace to hit the most homers in one season from a middle infield position in Yankees history. Kind of a big deal.
Aaron Judge? He’s pulling the ball again and no one has an answer for his antics.
Tanaka wasn’t great but the good news is he won’t have to face Boston in October because they won’t be there. If you take out his Red Sox starts this year he’s pretty much a top 10 pitcher in the AL.
Biggest concern came from Mike Tauchman who pulled up lame on in left field. He immediately came out and described it as someone kicking him in the calf.
My initial thought went to an achilles injury, but we’ll see. Hopefully just a little calf pull and he’ll be fine. Not the best time for an injury, especially since he’d been struggling a bit. Hope we get some good news tomorrow.
Fired their GM tonight. Tomorrow the Red Sox get eliminated from AL East contention.
