Wake Up With Joe Maddon

I’m still working through things so thank you in advance for the space in these trying times. Like even though we can all agree it’s time for new blood, this doesn’t make it any easier. Like breaking up with your high school girlfriend because you’re going to different colleges. You could probably make it work but deep down you know it’s better to start fresh and part ways. Best for both people. Blah blah blah. Doesn’t make it any easier though when you’re talking about your first real love/manager. It’s a hard thing to process so just do me a favor and stay positive. Joe Maddon is such a fucking good guy and cares so much about the game you have no choice but to respect him.

I’ll circle back later today with some more on next steps but obviously this means David Ross is coming in. You can only replace Joe with someone who knows this club and players and that’s basically David Ross and no one else.
