I'll See Feitelberg's Sturgill Simpson Album and Raise You "Let It Roll" by Midland
If you’re unfamiliar with Midland, it’s time to get familiar. They’re a blend of old style country music with a rock tinge to it. It’s different than most “country music” you hear on the radio these days. This is their second album and it’s awesome start to finish. I just found it the other day and I’ve been listening to it non-stop. Like I said, it’s kind of old-school country, so if your brand of country music skews to Kane Brown or Luke Bryan, this may not be for you. The combination of excellent lyricism and bad ass music makes the album one worth giving a listen to over the weekend.
By the way, their big hit off their first album is a great song also, “Drinkin’ Problem”
