What The Hell Is Going On At Ezekiel Elliott's Dad's House?

Alright so this whole serval cat incident happened just right down the road from me the other day and it completely took over the news. Someone in the county clearly has some sort sort wild animal fetish, seeing as this cat is native to the country of Africa. But aside from it being kinda weird, it didn't get me out of bed. Certainly didn't get these fingers typing. But now, now we've got some NOTABLE NEWS.

Columbus Dispatch - Ohio Department of Agriculture investigators on Wednesday searched the property of former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott’s father in the wake of a Serval cat being shot nearby. Sheriff’s office dispatchers received a call Sunday afternoon that a bobcat was attacking the caller’s dog, said detective David Maple. When deputies arrived, they saw the cat, felt threatened by its stance and shot it. The cat was identified by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as a Serval, a species of wild cat native to Africa. Servals stand about a foot tall and have small heads, large ears, spotted and striped coats, long legs and black-tipped tails. They also have the longest legs of any cat relative to its body size.

Now you've got my attention, folks. We've got people in the neighborhood saying they've seen "rare black foxes" and "wolf dogs" in that area for years, and the state investigators might be tracing this all back to Zeke Elliott's dad's property? I'm not trying to start rumors here but it's certainly not a stretch to think that Zeke would have at least some knowledge of what's going on if this holds true. I'm not well versed in the African cat trade industry, but I'd imagine that it could cost a pretty penny to transport or breed something like that. I know Zeke's dad is like a public speaker or whatever, so he's not rolling in his own dough, but let's not forget who is now cashing big boy checks each Sunday.

I honestly don't even know if this matters to Zeke at all, but I do find it interesting. And one must think, what does Roger Goodell think of this? He just decided that Zeke did not violate the personal conduct policy with his Las Vegas incident, but that was also after Zeke promised to be better. Is aiding and abetting in a wild animal ring being better? I want Redskins, Giants, and Eagles fans calling for a suspension here. Not having a permit for a wild animal is a first degree misdemeanor, letting it escape can be a 5th degree felony, but buying one for your dad has to be at least 2 games, right?
