HOLY SHIT. IT HAPPENED. ANDREI SVECHNIKOV SCORES THE FIRST "LACROSSE GOAL" IN NHL HISTORY
Oh my fucking god. I can't believe it. Earlier today I wrote a blog saying that "I Am #Done With "The Michigan" Until Somebody Pulls It Off In The NHL". You can read that right here if you'd like.
But in that blog, I said that if anybody was going to pull off "The Michigan" in the NHL that it would be Auston Matthews. Turns out I was way wrong because oon October 29, 2019, 19-year-old Andrei Svechnikov became the first player to pull off the move in the National Hockey League. He wasn't even born when Mike Legg first pulled off the move at Michigan. Sick son of a bitch.
And just like that, I am ALL THE WAY BACK on "The Michigan". Just an absurd amount of balls and skill from Svech here to pull off that move on the game's biggest stage. What a legend. Andrei Svechnikov becomes an immediate part of NHL history. Legend. Legend. Legend.
P.S. - Not to brag but I'm pretty sure I just accomplished the fastest "#done" in #done history.
