There Were 248 Cars Towed Overnight In Chicago
ABC - Nearly 250 vehicles were towed off city streets Sunday morning when the yearly winter parking ban took effect at 3 a.m., according to the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation.
The overnight ban prohibits parking on 107 miles worth of main roadways between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. until April 1, regardless of snow.
Hey assholes...maybe fix the sign if the law has changed?
If there's less than two inches of snow on the ground (which there was last night) everybody is going to think that they're okay by just reading that sign. Now we have people who have to waste all damn day going to the shitty tow yard to pay $200 for no damn reason. It's shit like this that makes me lose a little bit of hope for this city. Like I know we're broke, but not allowing anybody to park there overnight regardless of snow is bullshit.
Here's an interesting thread if anybody wants to read more on it:
Just figure it out already.
