The country music superstar is well known for smoking marijuana but stated in a recent interview that he has now stubbed out his joints for good. 

‘I have abused my lungs quite a bit in the past, so breathing is a little more difficult these days and I have to be careful,’ Nelson explained to KSAT.   

Last week Willie Nelson said in an interview that he is no longer smoking weed.

The entire world was aghast. When you think of Willie Nelson you think of “Always On Mind”(he sings it better than Elvis) and weed. And not in that order. I also think of Jessica Simpson because at her peak she was in Dukes of Hazzard with Willie

Absolutely hilarious that Willie Nelson has to clarify his position on weed because people were shocked and dismayed that he would actually quit. He ain’t quitting. If you’ve been getting high for lets say conservatively…SEVENTY YEARS, you don’t just stop at 86 years-old. He’s still delivering the mail, it’s just via amazon instead of the postal service. No blunts, no problem.

Loved how he didn’t blame weed either. Blamed it more on cigarettes and smoking cedar bark, what the fuck that is, than weed. Willie wants everyone to know that he’s still on the highway, he’s just changing lanes. He’s an edible and vape guy now, because those are healthy alternatives. Nobody has ever had a bad experience with those. Everyone knows that. Good for Willie. 86 years-old and he can come to Illinois in January if he wants to and smoke it legally. Blessed.
