#6 WSD Finally Chains Himself To Statute, Almost Gets Struck Down By Lightning

Checking in at #6 is WSD's legitimate attempt to bounce back from Mouse Gate 7 and a half months after the fact. Truly astonishing that he would make this move but then again we're talking about WSD. The guy is a content machine. Only he could go out there well after anyone stopped giving a fuck and then literally almost die within 5 minutes. And then not only that, but not even being actually chained to the statue was the cherry on top. And keep in mind this is sandwiched in between the repeated calls on Monday from Pres about why the baseball blogs are wrong. Honestly this is some of the funniest shit we put out all year when you think about how amazing it is that the baseball gods literally tried to throw a lightning bolt up white sox dave's ass. 

Ultimately though I think it was so ridiculous that everyone finally took a deep breath and stopped asking about the statute chaining. A tired joke and storyline played out too long and thankfully dead and buried here on this late September afternoon. As we'll see in our next two spots though this was critical to what Time Magazine is calling the greatest internet comeback of 2019.
