Walmart Manager Finds Bottles (plural) Filled With Bed Bugs in Men's Changing Room
(CNN)-- A Walmart in Pennsylvania is facing a bedbug infestation after someone released the parasitic insects in a men's changing room, state police said.
A manager at the store in Edinboro found a closed pill bottle with live bugs crawling inside and reported it to authorities Thursday, police said in a release. The bottle was found inside a boy's jacket which was for sale.
"We take this seriously and are looking into this," a Walmart spokesperson told CNN. "We are fully cooperating with law enforcement on their investigation.
A Walmart employee later found a second closed pill bottle containing dead bedbugs in the men's department, police said. Edinboro is in the northwest corner of the state, near Erie.
From what I've heard, bed bugs are just about the worst thing to happen to a person. My brother (not THAT brother), once had a run-in with them when he was in college and I heard all the horror stories as soon as he came back. Once, you think they're all gone after you've already wasted a good chunk of money on different ways to kill the little bugs, they come back.
It doesn't seem exactly cheap. You literally have to get rid of them too. If you don't they'll bite you, literally steal your blood, and then breed at about the same rate as Phillip Rivers right in your fucking face.
So for this man to just sit there - probably in his own home - and collect these bugs in the very definition of lunacy. That's not even the craziest part of the whole thing! The fact that a grown-ass adult just sat and collected bed bugs is overshadowed by the rest of the story!
He filled the multiple bottles up with bed bugs and brought them to a store! To infest other people! He put the bottle filled with the bugs in a children's jacket! What type of neo-terrorism bullshit is that??? Infesting innocent people? With bed bugs??
Thankfully the police got involved and are taking care of it. When they find this guy, I hope he never sees the outside of a jail cell ever again. Hell, their best course of action might just be to send this guy to an insane asylum.
