Here's All The Proof In The World That Ben Simmons Is The Next LeBron James. Suck On That, Haters
There's not another NBA superstar in the league who catches more hate than Ben Simmons. For some reason everybody always wants to attempt to diminish his greatness. They bring up the fact that we're in year 3 of Simmons and he still seems vehemently against shooting from 3. They bring up the trend that often times he'll just decide to disappear during the 4th quarter of games. They bring up the notion that he and Embiid can't coexist out on the floor together. Every time you bring up Ben Simmons, you're greeted with nothing but hate and doubt. And I'm sick of it. Because all you had to do was watch the NBA last night to realize that not only is Ben Simmons great, but he's going to takeover as the next LeBron. And here's why.
First of all, this was a very rude post from the main account. Kind of sucks to see blatant bullying like this in the year 2020. My momma always said that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I wish she could ground the main account right now for that post but I don't know if grounding works anymore these days. Perhaps we could bring it back, but we're a little beyond that point at the moment.
However, while the smooth brains of the world might see this Ben Simmons missed dunk and laugh about how he can't even make shots from an inch of the rim now, I look at this dunk and see the greatest basketball player in the world in the making. Because all the way across the country last night, here's what happened to LeBron James.
Me, searching for all the haters now.
LeBron James and Ben Simmons. Both of them were former 1st overall picks. Both of them are physical specimens who can play any position on the floor. And both of them were stuffed by the rim last night. If I didn't know any better, I'd say we were living in a Freaky Friday situation here where they both have just overtaken the other's body. Somebody get Lindsay Lohan on the line here.
Oh and by the way--turns out Ben Simmons really just wants a challenge, is all. Dunking is too easy for him at this point. He's only interested in dropping buckets when he is literally carrying a man on his back on the way to the rim.
Apologize, Ben. That was rude.
P.S. - Tobias Harris has some all-time Philly Fan Hate Awareness. He realized that if the Sixers dropped that game to Brooklyn last night, the fans would have been on one and started tearing into the team. You'd have the entire Delaware Valley calling in to sports talk radio this morning and demanding for Brett Brown to get fired and for the whole team besides Embiid to get traded. So what does Tobias Harris go out there and do? Drops a quick 34 to get everybody back on track with their goals set on winning a fucking title.
Tobias Harris will never let you hate him. Even if he pisses you off from time to time, her perfectly sprinkles in games like this one throughout the season that constantly have you hoping he'll be a monster in the playoffs.
