Does Justin Verlander Have a Burner Twitter Account To Defend Himself Against The Astros Cheating Scandal?

Burner accounts are all the buzz lately. There was the Adam Gase/Manish Mehta saga in December. Rovell got into it as well. We also had that mysterious "Carlos Beltran niece" twitter account last week which could possibly be a player's account or Incarcerated Bob. And now the internet appears to have uncovered a potential Justin Verlander burner. I mean what a world we live in. JV was at the forefront of being anti-cheating in baseball back in 2017. No one's quotes have backfired more in the history of spoken or written word.

"It's not about gamesmanship anymore. It used to be: 'Hey, if you can get my signs, good for you.' In the past, if a guy on second (base) was able to decipher it on a few pitches, I guess that was kind of part of the game," Verlander said. "I think it's a different level now. It's not good." -12up.com

Everyone has been waiting for Verlander to come out and speak publicly, but he's been M.I.A. Kate Upton has been silent as well despite having every opinion humanly possible when the Astros were winning. I'm sure the Astros and their lawyers have told these people to stay quiet to avoid any further punishments or blow back. What's a way to get defend yourself in that situation? A burner account. Not my idea of attack, but to each their own.

Now this could easily be a creepy super fan who was put on this Earth to defend JV until they died, but either way it's fun to investigate. It's fun to believe in things rather than to not, especially when there are some interesting clues. Jomboy woke us up this morning with some examples of this possibly being JV defending himself.

There just can't be a person out there who would take that much time out of their day to defend a person they don't know. This is either JV, someone in his circle, or Kate Upton (my favorite possibility).

Now here's where things get fun. Someone named Richard Schrade III figured out that the email linked to the Twitter goes to a gsk.com email format. GlaxscoSmithKline is a sponsor of Verlander's. Woah boy here we go….

These tweets make it seem like the person actually knows something or that it's actually Verlander. This person knows shit.

It's all extremely suspicious. Either 1) this is actually Justin Verlander, which would be incredible, 2) this is someone in his camp/inner circle 3 it's Kate Upton or 4) a batshit crazy obsessed Justin Verlander fan. Burner account investigating is so much fun, especially when you get a clue like the email address one. If Verlander got exposed for this it would be fucking amazing. It would make sense he has one too. I think he's a wildly sensitive guy and any time his name is in the negative it bothers him. Still to this day when his shirtless pic from the Fappening comes around he has people take it down. That happened to me last year if I remember correctly.

This would be the cherry on top of the icing and cake to a perfect offseason.
