Jaylen Brown's Body Count Is One Impressive List

I don't know about you, but I've rewatched Jaylen's poster of LeBron about 10,000 times today. Each time better than the last, my guess is if you're a Celts fan you've had a similar morning. Well after I wiped myself clean and had a clear mind it made me think about the body count that Jaylen has accumulated in his 4 seasons (3 really since he didn't play much as a rookie). Being an NBA player and putting a dude on a poster isn't all that uncommon, but you see the list of names that Jaylen has destroyed and it's about as impressive a resume as anyone in the league. So I figured why not take a moment out of our day to continue this Celtics high and relive some of the best posters of Jaylen's young career.

There was...

Kristaps Porzingis

I'll remind you that this came at a time when Porzingis was healthy and averaging 2.4 blocks a night. He also had a career high BLK% that season and Jaylen went up there with no fear whatsoever. Considering year in and year out Porzingis is one of the better rim protectors in the league, that was certainly impressive.

Nikola Vucevic

This one came way back in 2016, but it's still impressive as hell. While Vucevic isn't exactly a shot blocker he's still a 7 footer and Jaylen took off from pretty much the bottom of the circle. It seemed like Vucevic went up with the right intentions but then quickly realized he made a big time mistake.

Joel Embiid

This one came just last season on Opening Night. Sixers fans will be quick to tell you this isn't a poster. Cry about it.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Yeah the Celts were getting killed in this game. So what. That my friends was one hell of a dunk on Giannis and how many players can say they've done something like that and lived to talk about it? This play just goes to show that when Jaylen gets a full head of steam, there is no fear. Doesn't matter who you are, Jaylen is going to finish through you.

Giannis Antetokounmpo…..again

How many players do you see get Giannis not once, but twice? Again, I don't care about how the final score looked, this is a blog about Jaylen dunking on the best of the best in this league. Not sure if you knew this but Giannis won the MVP that year.

Giannis Antetokounmpo…..a third time

I mean, three Giannis posters? I dare you to find someone who has that on their resume. This one also came in a win too for those who are about that sort of thing. Me? Makes no difference, but one thing is clear. Jaylen Brown cannot stop dunking on Giannis if given the opportunity. That felt weird to type but it's also the truth.

LeBron James

And of course, there was last night. You know you wanted to watch it one more time who are you kidding. To go off two feet and shove it down LeBron's throat was fantastic, and the fact that now both Jays have this moment that will live forever on the internet is wonderful. No deleting the footage here for LeBron. He got got.

It makes you wonder, who could be next? Seems like Jaylen goes big game hunting when it comes to putting people on posters, so my guess is it's going to be another dominant player. Something tells me we're going to get a few more of these over the course of Jaylen's career, and I for one cannot wait.
