Throwback To A Simpler Time When TV Show Hosts Actually Drove Their Own Cars

So there’s been lots of talk today about TV show hosts not driving their own cars when it looks like they’re driving their own cars. Clem blogged the pictures of James Corden and Justin Bieber being towed around Los Angeles while shoot Carpool Karaoke. It’s some bullshit man. We’ve all been lied to, all of us. Here we all thought James Corden was driving mega celebrities around town belting out classic tunes but turns out he wasn’t. Sad. So I just wanted to give a shout out to the great Dave Chappelle who was very clearly driving Mos Def around back in the day. You can tell he’s really behind the wheel because at the 1:30 mark Dave gives a look of, “Holy shit I almost crashed and killed both of us right there.” I appreciate that. Yeah they almost got in an automobile accident and died but I appreciate Dave Chappelle being the real deal and actually driving Mos Def around town. Just another reason why Chappelle is the GOAT.
