Fuck man. Pretty wild that Tiger only found out about Kobe Bryant’s death after the round was over when Joey told him after walking off 18. Must’ve been tough for Joey to hold onto that type of information for 2 1/2 during the round but probably the right move. That’s a lot for Tiger to process in a short period of time before stepping in front of a microphone but it sounded like Tiger, a diehard Lakers fan and friend of Kobe, wanted to say something. He mentioned how people in the crowed were yelling, “Do it for Mamba!” and he had no idea why. Heartbreaking. What a surreal day for everybody.
