Jim Jefferies, Whitney Cummings, And Joe Rogan Raised $80k For Australian Wildlife Relief - And Then Rogan Doubled It

We've got an all-around feel good story for ya here.

Australian comic Monty Franklin hosted the 'Stand Up for Australian Fires Benefit' earlier this week in Los Angeles, where powerhouses like Jim Jefferies, Whitney Cummings, and Joe Rogan performed to raise money towards Wildlife Warriors; an organization started by the late Steve Irwin to support the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife.

Obviously, considering the horrific fires the country has been facing, they could really use all the help they could get right now, and this show wound up providing a whopping $80k worth of help when it was all said and done! Oh, actually - I shouldn't say that. When it was allllllllllll said and done, they provided $160k worth of support...because our KING Joe Rogan matched the grand total number outta pocket!

Rogan hasn't said a peep about this across social media over the last 48 hours, which shows ya the kinda guy that he is - but I think any listeners of the Joe Rogan Experience know about what kind of person he is already. Even in these strange times, where he's got liberals coming at him for leaning too far right, the right cancelling him for leaning too far left, and Stephen A Smith screaming at him about ESPN+ numbers, it all seems like white noise to him. I find that pretty damn admirable. He's just moving along, happy as a clam - smoking his weed, working on his comedy, recording podcasts with his buddies, donating high five fig numbers to the koalas, and going on hikes with his dog, Marshall...

How could ya not love the guy? Seriously! How could ya not love him?!

P.S. I've had a bunch of people asking me how to get into Joe Rogan's podcast recently, and I'd generally recommend just looking through the backlog and picking guests that interest you, but Robert Downey Jr was on just a few weeks ago and I feel like that'd be a great starting point for any new listeners...
