Meghan Markle Is Actively Looking For An Agent To Get Back Into Hollywood Which Better Mean Rachel Zane Is Making a Comeback
As Meghan Markle plans out her future role after stepping down as a senior working royal, it seems that a return to the world of showbiz in some capacity could be on the cards. More than two years after giving up acting to marry Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, has been 'actively looking' for a manager or agent for future projects, a source told US Weekly.
Meghan, who is currently in Canada with her husband and their son Archie, quit her role in the US legal drama Suits in 2017 after becoming engaged to the Duke of Sussex, 35, and joining the Royal Family as a working member. But the couple have since stepped back as senior royals as they 'work to become financially independent'.
The source said: 'Meghan is actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach.
Here we go! Obviously we all know that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are leaving the Royal Family to start their own lives in Canada. Now it's being reported that Markle is actively seeking representation to restart her acting career. What could that mean and why am I writing this blog? Suits. One of my favorite shows ever.
I will never forgive Prince Harry for robbing me of extra seasons of Suits with Mike Ross and Rachel Zane. Oh yeah they moved to Seattle? Bullshit. The show was never the same without those two. I know Mike made a surprise return at the end of the final season, but it wasn't enough.
Now that Meghan is coming back to North America she's getting right back into Hollywood it seems. She's actively seeking an agent to work with so she can get cooking. You know what that could/should mean? Give me one more season of Suits. I know how it ended. You what? They ended 24 also and then ran it back again too. I just want to see Mike Ross and Rachel Zane again. Fine can't do another season, just do a spinoff series. They gave one to Jessica Pearson for christ's sake, you can definitely do it for Zane and Ross.
I'd say my top 5 female TV characters of my life goes....
1. Claire Bennet (Hayden Panetierre) - She's pretty much the woman who confirmed to me as a teenager that I liked girls.
2. Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle)
3. Chloe O'Brien (Mary Lynn Rajskub) Everything she said was just the best
4. Fiona Gallagher (Emmy Rossum)
5. Arya Stark (Maisie Williams)
I'm sure many will disagree with this list, but unfortunately I will not be accepting disagreements at this time. Good day!
