Tyson Fury Said He Kicked His 20-30 Diet Cokes A DAY Habit While Training For Saturday's Rematch Vs. Deontay Wilder

The Score- Tyson Fury has made some sacrifices while preparing for his rematch against Deontay Wilder, including giving up an extreme Diet Coke habit. In an interview with ESPN's Max Kellerman, the British heavyweight admitted he was drinking up to 30 Diet Cokes per day before he began training in Las Vegas. "I love me Diet Cokes, and I was having, I don't know, 20, 30 in a day sometimes," Fury said.

I've always marveled at what professional athletes are able to accomplish. From the training to the competitive spirit to the ability to keep going after you cash that first million. But hammering down a Costco cube of Diet Cokes a day may be the most impressive feat I have ever heard. I couldn't imagine drinking 20-30 bottles of anything every single day. Not water, soda, or a zillion beers™.

But I guess that thirst for greatness is why Tyson Fury was able to add Heavyweight Champion to his resume while I stayed at regular ol' Heavyweight. While normal humans are walking around with 60% of their body made up of water, Tyson Fury was walking around as 60% carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame, phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate, natural flavors, citric acid, and caffeine. I would worry about Fury's lack of caffeine potentially catching up with him in the later rounds since he is 29-0-1 with that magical diet elixir coursing through his veins and it kept Mike Francesa in duh numbah one spot all those years. But Fury seems to have figured out a way to keep ensure his body will continue pumping adrenaline through his body during the fight.

T's and P's to Deontay Wilder because I know hell hath no fury like a big man that has been denied his Diet Coke.
