Shake Milton is the NBA Record Holder for Consecutive Made Threes and is Here To Save The Sixers Season

Shake Milton, 39 points, 14 of 20 from the field, 7 of 9 from three, and dating over the past several games THIRTEEN CONSECUTIVE MADE THREES. Has Steph Curry ever done that? No. Has Ray Allen ever done that? No. Has Reggie Miller ever done that? No. Shake n Bake Milton has though. What a game for Philly's newest prodigal son. I have never been in such a good mood after a loss in my entire life. A starlet arrived on the scene yesterday and if he is playing like this in LA, against the best defenders in the game, who is to say what the limit is for this man. I mean he had Paul George absolutely SHOOK.

Shake was amazing and his confidence was through the roof. He was pulling up from the parking lot and everything was going in.

I know this looks like an outlier, and in comparison to the rest of the season is most surely is. However, that doesn't mean this dude hasn't been balling. On the year, his per game numbers don't blow you away, but his percentages are more than adequate. On the year, he's shooting 49% from the field and 46% from three. He just hasn't had much of an opportunity, but with the Simmons injury 5 games ago, he has been playing star quality basketball.

The scariest part about this is that just two weeks ago Brett prepared him to assume a roll on the end of the bench for the rest of the season. 

Now there are legitimate conversations about whether or not he could develop into that third star that the Sixers desperately need to pair with Simmons and Embiid. What an amazing couple of weeks for Shake who went into the year wondering if he was going to be getting more playing time in the NBA or in the G-League.
